The 2014 event saw record crowds of around 200,000
who came to support the event over two sunny days! The 2014 flight
line up alone wowed the crowds and included a memorable display
from the Battle
of Britain Memorial Flight and Canadian
Lancaster which was thrilling, unforgettable and emotional and
certainly a “once in a lifetime event”.
The 2015 event will see 24 fabulous years of the annual Clacton Airshow based in the stunning Tendring District along the award winning Essex Sunshine Coast The event organised by Tendring District Council, is a well established FREE event and promises to "wow the crowds". We will see a much welcome return of Titan the Robot who is back this year by popular demand and a farewell flight by none other than the Vulcan XH558!
Our award winning seafronts and west greensward are transformed over the two days into a fun filled event site and viewing area. Impressive aerobatic displays take to the skies whilst a whole host of exhibition, trade stands, food court and on-site entertainment are available at ground level.
In addition to this year's Airshow, continuing with the thrill of the event into the bank holiday weekend the Clacton food and drink festival will take place on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August on the same site located on the stunning West Greensward! Flying will start from around 1pm - 5pm and are subject to change, prevailing weather conditions and operational requirements.
Flying regulation notice: "Restrictions of Flying Regulations have been established under Article 161 of the Air Navigation Order 2009 between 1230 hours (local) and 1700 hours (local) on 27th and 28th August 2015. As such no Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems shall be flown at this location (or other location description) without the permission of the Clacton Airshow Flying Display Director.”

Programmes will now be available over the two days in and around the Airshow site. The programme sellers can be identified by bright orange Airshow branded t-shirts! They will also be available at Clacton Tourist Information Centre and Clacton Train Station.

£5 per vehicle. Pick up starts from Clacton Factory Outlet at 9am. Drop off point is Angelfield, just off Carnarvon Road, Clacton-on-Sea. A short walk to site. Last pick up from Anglefield to Clacton Factory Outlet will be 6pm.
